What is it?

Toro Verde Adventure Park is...well...an adventure park. It has several rides and attractions that feature adventuring over (and through) the forest. They offer several different packages and options for ziplining in Puerto Rico, so let's discuss some of the things to do here. GoPro rentals, merch, and other pieces of memorabilia are available in the gift shop inside.

Let's start by talking about the longest zipline in the United States, followed by what happens once you finish it.

Yep, you read that right.

The Longest Zipline in the United States: El Monstruo

In case you didn't know, the Toro Verde Adventure Park is home to El Monstruo (The Monster), which happens to be the longest zipline in the United States. It used to hold the world record title for bring the longest zipline in the world, but Jebel Jais Flight in the United Arab Emirates currently holds the number one spot for the longest zipline in the world.

ZipRider in Mexico takes the number two spot.

Anyways, El Monstruo is an 8,300 foot-long zipline where you reach speeds of up to 95 miles per hour. That's 1.57 miles, or about 28 football fields.

Unlike traditional ziplines where the rider sits down and holds onto a rope while flying down, on this zipline you will be lying down completely flat, with your hands behind your back.
